OUR CLIENTS REVIEWS
Proven Excellence
Posted on Michelle BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I feel like I can finally say - with confidence - we have found our go-to company for all our heating & plumbing needs. I wish we would have found them years ago as we have had a lot of issues with our Navien. (And have felt scammed by other companies too). Sean was very transparent, took the time to explain everything to my husband and I, and it’s clear he actually knows what he is doing. He was able to not only identify/properly diagnose the current issues we were having with our system, but also the underlying causes and things we can do to help prevent issues going forward. We feel like there is a weight off of our shoulders now, and we can finally trust that the job will get done efficiently, correctly and for a fair price too.Posted on Shawna DaveyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Woke up Friday April 21, 2023 and discovered our hot water heater had blown and basement carpets were submerged in water. Not wanting to go all weekend without hot water and also not wanting to pay extra for “after hours charges” I had to find someone who could come that day. Thankfully I called Bigfoot Plumbing &Heating and, after answering a few questions, Sean said he would be here shortly. Within the time he arrived I received an e-mail with a quote that matched the amount we discussed in our phone conversation. Shortly after accepting the quote Sean arrived and he explained everything he was going to do. He advised right away about some pipe issues they would have to change at an additional cost. He showed us exactly what the problem was and we approved the small additional charge and Sean and his assistant cleaned and dried everything up. Once finished he again went step by step over the invoice explaining everything. Very professional and knowledgeable. Left workplace immaculate. was was very polite. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone as they were prompt, professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and very very reasonably priced. Back in 2020 a friend referred us to Big Foot Plumbing and Heating when we needed a plumber to check for a water leak during a home inspection. Since then Sean has been our go to guy for toilet repairs, furnace installation and kitchen tap replacement. He is always prompt, professional and takes pride in his work. He also provides great follow up service. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.Posted on Trevor MooreTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Emergency FAQ's
These will help guide clients in critical situations while they wait for professional assistance!
What should I do if I have a burst pipe?
Turn off the main water supply immediately to prevent flooding. Then, call us right away to assess the damage and begin repairs.
How can I stop a clogged drain from getting worse?
Avoid using chemical drain cleaners as they can damage pipes. Try using a plunger or a drain snake, and if the clog persists, call us for professional assistance.
What should I do if my water heater stops working?
Check the thermostat and make sure it’s set correctly. If the problem persists, turn off the power or gas supply to the heater and contact us to avoid further damage.
What should I do if I smell gas or suspect a gas leak?
Leave the area immediately—do not use electrical switches, lighters, or anything that could create a spark. Shut off the gas supply at the meter if it’s safe to do so, then call your gas provider from a safe location.
What should I do if my furnace or AC stops working suddenly?
Check the thermostat settings, air filters, and circuit breakers to rule out simple issues. If the system still won’t turn on or is making unusual noises, shut it off and call us to prevent further damage.
Plumbing FAQs
At Bigfoot Plumbing & Heating, we know that plumbing, gas fitting, and HVAC issues can be stressful. That’s why we’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions our customers ask.
If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!
Do you offer emergency plumbing and HVAC services?
How do I know if my sewer line is clogged or damaged?
Common signs include slow drains, gurgling sounds, sewage backups, and foul odors. If you notice any of these, a professional inspection can identify the issue before it worsens.
How often should I have my water heater serviced?
It’s recommended to service your water heater once a year to flush out sediment, check for leaks, and ensure it’s operating efficiently. Regular maintenance extends its lifespan and improves performance.
What is backflow, and why do I need prevention services?
Backflow happens when contaminated water flows back into your clean water supply due to pressure changes. A backflow prevention device keeps your drinking water safe and is often required by local regulations.
Do I need a water softener for my home?
If you have hard water (which causes scale buildup, dry skin, and spotty dishes), a water softener can improve water quality, protect your plumbing, and extend the life of appliances like water heaters and dishwashers.
